For years, it has been our privilege to care for you and your family, and we are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in us as your care continues.
After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close Allergy & Asthma Centre of Dayton. Our last day will be October 23, 2026. We have partnered with Family Allergy & Asthma (FAA) to continue providing you with excellent patient care and service. We are working to coordinate the transfer of your medical records and will share more information about that process as soon as it becomes available.
Please call us as soon as possible at 1-800-999-1249 to schedule your appointment — telehealth is also available — so your allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) can continue with minimal interruption.
Dr. Terri McMillan will remain in the area and continue seeing patients at Family Allergy & Asthma. Dr. Charles DeBrosse will be taking a new position at the Allergy Clinic at the University of Kentucky (Pediatric Specialty Clinic, 740 S. Limestone, Second Floor, Wing D, Room J201, Lexington, KY 40536; phone (859) 323-6211).
Regardless of which physician you saw previously, you may be seen by any FAA provider. If you currently have vials of allergy extract on hand, you may continue using them as usual until you've had your first appointment with FAA. When your vials are nearly finished, your FAA provider may re-test you and/or reformulate your treatment at that time.
If you have not indicated where you would like your vials transferred — to FAA or, if you'd prefer, another provider or practice — by October 16, 2026, they will automatically transfer as follows, based on your current location:
Please note: delays in scheduling your first appointment with FAA may require dropping down in dosage and rebuilding your allergy shot schedule from an earlier point.
If you are currently receiving biologic therapy (such as Xolair, Dupixent, Fasenra, or a similar medication) for your allergies or asthma, please contact your new provider as soon as possible to reestablish care and help maintain continuity of treatment.
